October 27, 2006 Subject Clarification on News Regarding Capital Increase By Private Placement To The President, The Stock Exchange of Thailand In response to certain news that Central Pattana Public Company Limited ("CPN") will increase its paid up capital by private placement, we would like to clarify that there was no capital increase by CPN. The private placement transaction was executed by one of CPN's major shareholder, the Thailand Equity Fund.
