Central Pattana Public Company Limited To postpone the Public Offering August 6, 2002 Subject : To postpone the Public Offering To : The President, The Stock Exchange of Thailand Refer to the offer of 6,000,000 shares of Central Pattana Public Company Limited (the Company) with par value 10 Baht per share by shareholders namely Mr. Sudhitham Chirathivat, Mr.Vanchai Chirathivat, Mr.Kobchai Chirathivat, Mr.Prin Chirathivat, Mr. Suthiphand Chirathivat and Mrs. Suchittra Mongkolkiti (collectively referred to as "the shareholders") in order to increase stock liquidity which SCB Securities Co.,Ltd and KIM ENG Securities Co.,Ltd. are financial advisor and distributor for this placement and the shareholders have set the date of this offering on August 6, 2002 during 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, the Company has just been informed by the shareholders that they would like to postpone this offering although there are strong demand from institutional investors. As the shareholders would like to distribute such shares to retail investors but the current situations in the stock market is highly volatile which may affect an investment from the retail investors who are sensitive with market volatility. Therefore, the shareholders thought that it will be more appropriate to postpone this offering till the stock market is stabilized to protect benefit of retail investors.
